What counts as a paid seat

Only active members who manage availability or receive bookings need a paid seat on Workspace and Business. Reception, billing, auditor and read-only roles are not automatically counted as paid seats.

Who pays for a workspace

  • Workspace paid — the workspace's own billing account pays.
  • User sponsored — an authorised user's attached billing account is the payer.
  • Network internal — governed Bobby Network service access pays or waives retail billing.
  • Free — no paid subscription is active.

Changing the payer will affect future charges only; historic invoices stay with the original billing account. Cancelling or downgrading will never delete calendars or bookings.

The small print, stated plainly

  • Prices exclude VAT where legally appropriate. Applicable VAT is calculated at checkout.
  • Annual prices are an annual commitment, not a cancellable monthly subscription. Annual billing is effectively two months free compared with flexible monthly billing.
  • Seat prices for Workspace and Business are per active seat per month. Only members who manage availability or receive bookings need a paid seat.
  • Reception, billing, auditor and read-only roles are not automatically paid seats.
  • Paid plans are planned to include a 14-day trial. Private Free never requires a card.
  • Bobby Network service-to-service use is governed separately and is not ordinary retail seat billing.
  • AI features, when they ship, are paid with Bobby Credit packages — there is no separate AI subscription and no unlimited AI claim.
  • Plans and prices describe the approved direction. Nothing on this site is currently purchasable.

Pricing questions

Is Bobby Calendar available today?
No. This site is the first public design presentation of Bobby Calendar. Accounts, calendars, bookings, billing and integrations are not built yet, and nothing here can be purchased or signed up for.
Who pays for a workspace?
A workspace is planned to have one explicit billing mode: it pays with its own billing account, an authorised user's billing account is the payer, access is governed internally inside the Bobby Network, or no paid subscription is active. Changing the payer will affect future charges only.
